Inexpensive gifts for co-workers is the demand of every season especially around Christmas when you are drawing your list of gifts for each and every acquaintance .
Giving gifts for your near and dear ones is easy as you know them very well and also you their needs and wants so the gift you give them is relatively an easy task especially when there is no budget constraints to go along.
Now for the list of gifts and gift ideas for co-workers and the list has to be such that you do not have to spend a lot on the gifts especially if it is a large group and what you are looking for is not expensive gifts as it adds up to a large amount eventually.
I perfectly understand this dilemma as I have drawn a list of gifts and gift ideas for co-workers.
There are several options in terms hand made gifts if you are willing to take that extra effort or special gifts available at the stores with ranges like gifts less that $5 or $10. Creativity plays an important part as you do not want a cliched gift so to speak. The other factor is that you will have to put some extra time into selecting those as they are mostly not available off the shelf.
Here is my list of inexpensive gifts for co-workers with my warnings on several not to do things
Get Creative .
Try to make a collage of photographs of all co-workers desks and then try to digitally print each one of them or order them through Kodak gallery or other online digital photography shop to print them and send them to you . Gift wrap each photograph and give it as a gift on any occasion to your co-workers.
As I said earlier creativity is must try a pack of Hershey kisses or Small packs of popcorn gifts in a bundle and put them in small specially made coffee mugs and wrap them in cellophane paper, attach a special note to each one of them along with a curling ribbon and I am sure people will love it.
Hand made or home made .
Give home made chocolate covered pretzels or peanuts, but please make sure they are homemade otherwise the value of that as a gift is lost. go with variations of pretzels or coverings like chocolate or white chocolate and then wrap them in cellophane paper and a curling ribbon and you are done.
Think Office use
Erase board for office use , yes I know that it is easily available at the office stationary but make this one special buy ordering a bulk of them with special crafting on each side . Try using local artisans or artists who can make these fast and easy and yes inexpensive. Cute notepads is another option .
Special artistic mouse pads can be a good gift.
Special clay angels for keeping on the desk..
A pack of flavored teas and a mug (cliched but inexpensive )
Tote bags or themed movie gift cards ..
Think Local
Visit your local farmers market or artisan market and you will see a whole bunch of items that you can try to use as creatively as you can especially as they are inexpensive and secondly most people will not make an effort to go to a farmers market and hence you emerge with a different yet inexpensive gifts for co-workers
With holidays that come every year the need of the hour is always to have inexpensive gifts for co-workers but of high quality and of course of high remembrance value .
