The tradition of birthday cakes goes well beyond the 19th century when the Greek gods and goddesses celebrated the birthdays with cakes and candles on top of the cake .
It is said that blowing the candles in one breath can make wish come true.
No birthday party can be complete without a birthday cake and with the candles on top of that proclaiming the age of the birthday person.In todays world nothing is complete withoiut a cake take for example graduation day which is not complete without graduation cake ideas The cakes initially were baked at home by the near and dear ones but now there are several options available in the marekt from custom made to designer cakes to fruit cakes to cream cakes and even traditional bakery cakes.
Cakes now have evolved into an industry with kids and adults alike having a liking for the cakes and yes the cake has to be that soft , deleicious thing which when one bites into becomes a perfect piece of the moment that melts into your mouth and leaves that linegring taste of sweet which signifies warmth and love of the near and dear ones.
