Unique and Unusual baby gifts

A multitude of unique baby gifts as a follow up to my last post on the personalized baby gifts.
Unique by the very nature of definition would mean something which is not available in general but it is unique and one and only one as a gift for the baby.

Do you have this thing in mind every time you are trying to search for a baby gift. The most observant general quandary is “I want to give something unique as a baby item for gift to my relative or friend who is expecting a baby very soon. I do not want run of the mill gifts available in the general stores which are full of those standard baby blankets and stuffed animals”.
Does this sound familiar and yes the unique gifts for the baby are very tough to find. You will need to think hard on being creative.

Here are some my suggestions for the unique baby gifts which are also somewhat unusual.

New born portraits - A new born portrait is a very unique baby gift for the parents to be and what you can give is a gift coupon or rather a gift certificate from the local store or a well known studio chain. This is usually what people will never think of as a gift but serves as an absolutely wonderful idea to give as a gift. Though some would think that there no time initially for the portraits and such but that is where your gift would at least force them to show up at the photo studio. The parents will cherish the photo later for years to come.

Baby sitting needs: Ask yourself what the need of the hour is for the parent is. Of course the help is bets gift and I have recommended it to my friends and others. In fact when I had a baby and someone offered the same I was absolutely thrilled. It is such a gift that someone you know will care the same for the kids and will also allow some time for yourself. The first few months are for sure crazy but this gift is like a blissful experience.

Casting of hand and foot – there are companies that will come home and do the casting of the tiny hand and foot prints of the baby and then will frame it for you. As I explained earlier you can for sure try giving a gift voucher for the same or buying a do it yourself casting kit for the new parents top get the castings and have the foot and the hand prints in a special frame.
Try these unusual baby gifts and I am sure their uniqueness will make you proud.
