In my last post I had written about the diaper cake as gifts and in this post I will tell how to make a diaper cake.
What is essence is a diaper cake - It is a cake made of diapers and is not edible but the look and feel of it is like a cake and can be used as a decoration item or a gift item for baby gifts.
Materials Needed – What you need for a diaper cake is around 50 diapers or so well it can be more but because of the fact that you need to able to make it of decent height 50 is neither less nor more. You also need glue dots or any duct tape or special tiny tape which is shiny as a binding material. Then you also need the special cardboard below each lower so as to hold the layer or a special cardboard material under each rolled diaper so that it does stand on its own.
Layers – Think about how many layered cake you want to make. If you are reading this because you want to make your own diaper cake then make sure that you have only two layers are you an make it easily and much more effectively.
Assemble – Have a big round of diapers stacked in a vertical fashion and then add glue them together or tie them together. If you tie them together then you will need a center piece like a special cardboard roll or some hollow pipe in the center around which you can stack all the diapers. Then again make a round of diapers smaller than the bottom one and once the round of diapers is ready stack on top of the other bigger round and then put a small beautiful doll or a toy on the small roll to make it look pretty and give a feeling of a two layered cake.
The essential rule on how to make a diaper cake is that you can have a simple three layered cake to a special cake with intricate design if you know how to put them and stack the diapers together.
