Thanksgiving dinner time you can keep the thanksgiving cornucopia in the center table for the thanksgiving decorations.
The tradition has it that it is the curved goat’s horn filled with fruits and grains. The Greek legend has that a goat called Amalthea broke one of her horns and offered it to Greek God Zeus as a sign of respect. The god Zeus then as mark of gratitude sent it to the sky and now it is called the Capricorn.
Here are my tips on how to make a thanksgiving cornucopia
Get a cornucopia or the basket which is of the shape like the one which goat has.
Then get a Styrofoam ball so that you can stick things into it. Put the Styrofoam ball in the n basket and then start adding the straw, excelsia or raffia into it.
Then you can add stem things like the vegetable and also a few autumn leaves. Make sure that they stick into the Styrofoam ball.
Also you will need a big plate on which to keep the cornucopia and that way you can have a nice cornucopia plate as a thanksgiving centerpiece. Make sure that you add a big number of autumn leaves and other straw items onto plate so as to make it look like a fall foliage.
Fill the cornucopia with fruits and gourds, pomegranates, small apples, miniature pumpkins. Also make sure that they spill over onto the plate to add significance to the statement about the horn of plenty.
The thanksgiving cornucopia is the best thanksgiving craft and how to make a thanksgiving cornucopia is the question that most kids will like to be answered in a simple yet cost effective manner.
